Taco Casita -Wabash Ave. in Terre Haute

The food was hot and made quickly after my order. I barely had a wait time. The order was correct and exactly how I ordered it. The employees were kind and courteous. They are inexpensive and great for larger families. We will definitely be taking our family back there and I will also continue to use them for my lunch breaks since I received such quick service!

Not a huge selection, but the food was great! The prices are amazing low and the food comes extremely fast. Definitely a good stop for college students. The corn shells for the hard shell tacos were excellent.

Building seems a bit run down,other then that I love this place. The food is great and they have really good prices. I would highly recommend visiting this place

I have been going to this location since it was Taco Tico (or was it Tico Taco?). A Terre Haute institution! Wet plate, mild, with sour cream. Taco burger. You can’t go wrong, believe it or not. I know it doesn’t look like much, but it’s pretty great. Microwaved or whatever they do, it’s good stuff, idc. Support local!

Taco Casita has been around our town since I was little. It is a Great Change of Pace from the other big Chain restaurans.

Usually pretty good! Decent prices. I have had them mess the food up but they are usually good about fixing it. The one on 41 is the better one to go to.

Dined at Taco Tico starting in 1973. Still love the place today. Friendly Staff & Great Food.

Can't seem to get something as simple as king DRY sancho. 5 visits in a row, ordered DRY, got wet. Been eating there over 40 years & I'm about done.

Better if the staff d idnt have their significant others smoking out front glaring at your customers. And to be completely honest. The employee was just fine as well as the other staff. But that man was not what you would have bringing in your business. More like costing you that business. ( big Harley bike rider)

This local legend is fast, tasty, and utterly unsophistocated. The counter-service Americanized Mexican menu is small, simple, and cheap. There is absolutely nothing fancy or refined about this place, and no one minds. Service is limited but almost always super friendly. Prices are cheap and portions are good. It's not authentic Mexican, but it's fun and delicious. I grew up on it and always stop by when I'm in town.

Building does need work at both locations but the food is excellent. I usually get Two Tacos and Two taco burgers and a drink and it’s like 5$ Prices can’t be beat. I’d go here over Taco Bell any day of the week!

A must try for Terre Haute! The worst best Hispanic food ever, I especially like the Sancho wet or dry, the crunchy tacos, taco burger, and the beef enchiladas. The wet plate is worth a try. Their cinnamon chips are a great addition. Good prices, interior is not great and the restrooms are lacking any kind of quality but the food is just so badly great you can’t miss this place!

Purchased a large amount of food for a party. Taco burger had bright blue mold on it.

Super cheap and great food. If you are judging this place by the building your probably won’t step foot inside. But if you can get past the run down look you won’t be disappointed. Wet plate hot with 2 hot tacos is my go to. My dad use to take me here 39 years ago and I swear the food is exactly the same as well as the carpet. Don’t get scared away by the rough exterior. The place is special to me!

Very good taco service was good and nice and quiet atmosphere

This is Terre Haute’s second ‘diveyist’ (is that a word?) taco joint. Sure it’s looks pretty sketchy but they always do well on health inspections. The food is cheap and fast and in no way whatsoever authentic Mexican. My only real complaint is that the default taco has a crunchy shell. Everyone knows that a taco is made with a soft tortilla, but here you have to ask for a ‘soft taco’ or you will get one of those tortilla chip like crunchy shells that break into 20 pieces as soon as you take a bite. Long live Taco Casita!
